What's your verdict on the match? Not sure what to write today, as it has been a while since we have woken up with three points in the bag.

It wasn't pretty in the first half and the sending off definitely tipped things in our favour, but at the moment I'll take anything that means us getting out of this rut.

The starting XI was better balanced and the addition of Cav meant QPR couldn't double up on Costa and it gave us options on both wings. Yes, he wasn't great but sometimes a threat can be actually as useful as the reality of the end product.

It was also good to see Saiss back in the team. He's got a nastiness about him I like and we seem a much better team when he's adding composure and a range of passing to our midfield.

Then we come on to Costa, the best Portuguese import since Superbock. He can do things with the ball that most of our players can only dream of and the second goal gave us some valuable breathing space and the opportunity to play a little.

I know it's only going to be a matter of time until he heads back to Benfica, but we need to play to his strengths whilst we've still got him.

The last seven minutes of added time was a little more fraught than they needed to be...you probably wouldn't have expected anything else. Even then we still had three one-on-ones that, with the same composure Sheffield Wednesday showed on Saturday, we could have perhaps won by three, four or maybe five.

Who played well - and who didn't impress? It was a welcome return for Danny Batth, who held the defence together well in the closing stages and made one outstanding block in the first half.

I suppose I should also mention Dave Edwards. Having had a horrendous first half where he was QPR's best midfielder, you could have forgiven him for hiding. The reality was completely different and the finish for the first goal was sublime. I swear he does it just to torment me.

What's your verdict on the match? Was I glad to see the back of November, again!

This was two out-of-form teams and a must-win for Wolves. I felt all day we would come back with the points and true to plan that's just what we did.

The first positive was when the team was announced. Fair play to Lambert who made five changes and it was hard to find fault with any of them.

Personally, I was pleased to see Dicko and Cavaleiro start, with Saville dropping out.

It was a nervous start by Wolves, as expected, but getting through the first 20 minutes did confidence good.

The first half wasn't great at all. I felt we were doing our best, which is all we can ask, but we were not making the extra man count following the red card on 34 minutes.

Lambert must have instilled more belief during half time. Our first bit of sustained pressure was rewarded with a goal. Iorfa was impressive going forward and this was a perfect pull back for Edwards who likes the TV cameras.

He nearly added a second within five minutes with a glancing header, but we didn't have to wait too long. A lovely solo goal from Costa, when he seemed to weave his way through the entire QPR midfield and defence to create the space to shoot.

Just as I was enjoying the extra width, Lambert went narrow with Saville and Bodvarsson replacing Cavaleiro and Dicko. Doherty should have wrapped it up with a third on 78 minutes and we then endured a fairly frantic final 20 minutes or so.

We were holding on during added time and QPR had one real chance to equalise.

In balance, I think we deserved the win. Their keeper had kept them in the game during second half. It was good to see us creating more chances than of late, with many on target.

I'm looking forward to a great December.

Who played well - and who didn't impress? Lambert 'played well' with his team selection and extra width leading to more creativity. A number of players improved on recent performances.

Dicko, Edwards, Iorfa all impressed. Stearman and Batth paired up as well as any other combination this season. Not great, but they did well.

Man of the match was Costa for his run, trickery and a fine goal. The sort of excitement we all crave.

No player bombed out. Saiss and Coady were quiet. Maybe that's needed too. Doherty was much improved.

What's your verdict on the match? More proof that the best form of defence is attack.

Lambert selected a 4-3-3 with the wider players tracking back rather than just going with a lone front man - and it worked.

In similar fashion to Bodvarsson, Dicko ran his socks off with no real sight of goal. It was an even first half and then we made the extra man count with two well constructed and equally well taken goals from Dangerous Dave and the livewire Costa.

In defence we hardly put a foot wrong with Danny Batth looking a completely different player with Stearman at his side.

I am no lover of Stearman but there was a calmness for all but the last five minutes that has been lacking of late.

When the onslaught came everyone was more than happy to stand up and be counted and we could and realistically should have been a few more goals clear as their keeper did very well when stopping Doherty, Costa and Bodvarsson.

It wouldn't be Wolves without a fight but let's concentrate on the positives.

Who played well - and who didn't impress? Everyone did well, especially Iorfa and Doherty who defended solidly and led more than a few of our attacks.

A great win but you can stick your Thursday away games especially when the trains are in such a mess!

What's your verdict on the match? At last a fantastic result. Well done Wolves, thank you, something to build on. Plus yet another second half performance that outdid the first.

It was a forgettable first half and difficult to know which side had the man advantage after Perch was sent off. Wolves were looking like a team waiting for something to happen to them rather than making it happen ourselves.

The second half started in a similar fashion and then who pops up? Mr Dependable, King Edwards. So, onto the front foot and a nice Costa run and shot, game over - or not?

Although things were just a tad panicky once Rangers had scored late on, it was just as annoying to watch Costa and Bodvarsson squander two great chances to properly win the game.

A welcome change to come away from a game thinking we were the better team, albeit against a poor side and, of course, having suffered a sending off.

Who played well - and who didn't impress? Ikeme - no worries on his return to the team. Lonergan - following the Ikeme injury having to face Rangers' push for late comeback. Back four - no real matters arising and definitely did their job during those last few minutes. Saiss - excellent game, playing like he was under Zenga, surely he's got to stay in the team. Edwards - as I said, Mr Dependable, super Dave. Coady and Saville (sub for Cavaleiro) didn't really show for me. Costa - lovely goal however I think he's not yet quite on his best game.

Pleased that we at last started with Cavaleiro and Dicko. Both showed good energy but that final spark eluded them, each unable to create that all-important chance either for themselves or each other. Bodvarrson (sub for Dicko) found some space as the game wore on and definitely would have wanted to score that late chance
