VERDICT: Fans acclaim Teixeira after Wolves' win over Brentford
Our fans are full of praise for Wolves after the 3-1 win over Brentford at Molineux.
Russ Evers (Hatherton Wolves)
What's your verdict on the match? Another first half where we seemed to be nervous and non-committal but in the second half we tore through the gears.
Brentford were resolute but nothing special and we managed to capitalise courtesy of a Portuguese hat-trick. The mercurial Teixeira brushed aside his first half penalty claim with a well-taken double before Cavaleiro finally quelled the growing nerves with the third, after Brentford had dared to score.
Three points and a gradually improving understanding and, despite the appalling refereeing, we are starting to look a team who may do things.
Who played well - and who didn't impress? Again no bad performers with Danny Batth, Carl Ikeme and Helder Costa proving to be the difference.

What's your verdict on the match? That was a really important three points and a tremendous 45 minutes of football from both sides.
I think we just about edged a first half that was a little bit tentative, but second half was a rollercoaster of attacking play that could have seen more than the four goals the game eventually delivered.
Where to start with the analysis? Let's talk about Tex baby…
Before the game I said that he needed a big performance...he'd shown glimpses of promises, yet hadn't really stamped his authority on a game for longer than a 10-minute spell.
Well yesterday he lived up to the billing, tormenting both Brentford full-backs more than a Bradley Walsh sitcom based in the Mediterranean.
He also provided some end product to his game, with a beautifully taken solo effort and a whipped in free kick (one of his better deliveries) that deceived pretty much everyone in the box. This is the Teixeira that could transform our season.
After a fair bit of rotation, I'd say Zenga has settled on a system and starting line-up that could see us challenge for the play-offs. Marshalled by the excellent Saiss and a blossoming partnership of Batth and Iorfa, we look decent at the back and a constant threat going forward.
Although this is a Wolves report, I feel I should give a mention to Ryan Woods, the Chesney from Corrie lookalike in the middle of the park for Brentford. I thought he had a tremendous game, dictating their tempo and play and deserved to be on the winning side. Interesting, he's a local lad that started his career at Shrewsbury...definitely one that has slipped through the net.
So nine games in and we sit eighth in the table, looking like we may have settled on a system that suits us. The new players are bedding in well and the old guard are upping their game – mention for Edwards here who recovered his 'Mo Farah' legs yesterday.
Zenga, Zenga, Zenga, he's taking us to the premier, the premier, the premier...well I'm not sure about that, but he has returned excitement and the feel good factor to Molineux.
Who played well - and who didn't impress? The pace of Costa and Cavaleiro gives us an outlet and what can you say about Jon Dadi. The guy is immense and leads the line better than anyone in the Championship.
His tireless running, clever link-up play and ability to play 'the right pass' has made him a better bargain than a two-for-one Jägerbomb in Destinys in Newcastle. Yesterday, he was battered from pillar to the post, but thrived on it, coming back for more and making sure the Brentford centre backs knew they'd been in a game.
If I was ever going to do the 'clap' it would be for him!

What's your verdict on the match? I was pleased that Walter picked the same team that started a week ago. Maybe he has got a good idea now of his 'best' 11 - most of the existing squad have been given a chance and only Coady can feel hard done by.
This was a very enjoyable game to watch. Two good teams, ebbing and flowing with the ultimate result unclear until the superb third goal in added time.
Wolves started both halves well, only to see Brentford get on top, especially after they pulled it back to 2-1.
Wolves didn't seem to use their width well, even with Costa and Texeira playing. However, they were more than up for a midfield battle with Edwards, Oniangue and Saiss all having solid performances.
The first and third goals were fabulous - smart play, quick thinking and players linking up well. Brentford just couldn't cope. Dare I say it - this was exciting to watch.
Well done to Walter and the players for coming back from a difficult result against Barnsley. I feel momentum is building now. Onto Wigan, where I expect we will see changes, if only to allow some players to rest and recover fully.
Who played well - and who didn't impress? Batth had his best game of the season. Oniangue and Saiss were competent without being outstanding. Texeira probably had his best game for Wolves. He should have won a penalty in the first half, but probably suffered from a reputation for going down too easily!
My man of the match goes to Bodvarsson. His overall contribution was superb and his late run and measured pass to Cavaleiro just about swung it in his favour.
Costa had a difficult game - despite lots of endeavour nothing seemed to click for him.

What's your verdict on the match? Let's get the moaning out of the way first this week...the ref was abysmal yet again!
And my other major gripe was the crowd - 20,637 is embarrassing for a club that wants to regain its place as one of the biggest in the land, even more so with the family deal incentive and last Saturday's performance at Newcastle.
Now for the positives. I thought Danny Batth was bloody superb from start to finish. Likewise Jon Bod, Duracell are missing a trick, this bloke would outrun one of their bunnies all night long.
The back four would be my choice all season, injuries permitting, and what can you say about Saiss? If you came home and found him in bed with your wife you would tuck him in and make him a sandwich.
We were good without being brilliant in the first half but in the second showed glimpses of real quality all over the park.
Yes we let them back in the game when we should have shut the door but it is a new team still learning and I for one thoroughly enjoyed what I was watching.
Who played well - and who didn't impress? There quite simply wasn't a bad performance. Cavaleiro is obviously not fully fit but still showed more than enough of the obvious class he possesses.
Star performer could go to any one of six or seven. Teixeira with his trickery and two goals will no doubt get the most plaudits but I am going to give it someone who is criticised time and time again yet ran himself into the ground to allow Tex and co to do their stuff. Take a bow Dave Edwards.

What's your verdict on the match? Aside from the opening 15 minutes and another 15 minute second half spell we looked very comfortable.
In the first half we used the ball well but just couldn't find the right final ball. After half time we managed to click and get it right, looking especially dangerous breaking at pace. Teixeira's first goal was a prime example of this.
Costa's break was lightning quick and Teixiera demonstrated his fantastic technical ability to slip his man and finish.
The third goal from Cavaleiro was a similar quick break to seal the victory and you sense that we can really cause some damage to teams with our counter attacking this season, particularly now that the team is starting to click.
There were still the usual jitters at the back. Some poor decision making and positioning cost us for the Brentford goal and for 10 minutes or so after that it felt like we could have another late sucker punch like the Burton game.
It feels like Zenga still needs to recognise earlier that legs are going in the central midfield position and get his substitutions in sooner to offer more protection to the back four.
Iorfa and Batth made more blocks in front of their defensive line in that 15 minutes than in the rest of the game combined and it meant both full backs started having to come in to cover gaps more often, leaving a man over in the wide positions too much.
Who played well - and who didn't impress? Teixeira was the stand out. He was a constant thorn in Brentford's side and was beating his man regularly (sometimes two men!). I thought he should have had a penalty in the first half after beating two players four times to get into the box before being blocked from making his cross.
Costa was fairly impressive again and spent less time delivering his theatrics than against Burton, though there was still the odd sighting of the arms being flung skywards.
Saiss was excellent again and did great work both out of possession and with the ball at his feet. It's reassuring to finally have a holding midfield player that can play a bit of football too.
Finally, the Dadi. Goalless again and without a real clear-cut scoring opportunity. Most would view that as a worry but he offers so much more to this side than scoring goals.
He bullied their defenders all day, showed great touches, awareness and a deceptive turn of pace for a man of his size, and was involved in all of our best moves. He has become almost essential to the way we play.

What's your verdict on the match? I was pleased to see same line-up after last week's great win and it paid off with another superb result.
I've got to start with Texeira, especially after below-par games in the last couple - well he certainly came good here, tormenting their defenders and scoring two cracking goals.
There was some great combination work by him and Costa to get us going in the second half plus of course his excellently-taken direct free kick.
Bodvarsson's calm pass to Cavaleiro sealed the win in stoppage time but not before Brentford tested us after bringing a goal back.
Of Bodvarsson, he puts absolutely loads of work in, although heavily marked, and more than once came out shaking from knocks - why was he not taken off to ensure he can similarly contribute at Wigan on Tuesday?
A stand-out for me was also Roman Saiss - I love his positional sense and protection of the back four. Plus, after some indifferent games of late, David Edwards deserves praise for getting stuck in, some good running and making himself available at every opportunity.
Both Danny Batth and Matt Doherty stood out at the back, however I was dissappointed with Dominic Iorfa for their goal - he wasn't close enough to the attacker and where was a block tackle?
Another question needs answering in that during Brentford's good spell mid second half and, ignoring the referee's decisions, why were we giving away so many free kicks in our own half?
Who played well - and who didn't impress? Man of the match was Joao Texeira. A fantastic performance.
