Wolves host Reading today in their first home league game of the new Championship campaign.

The team's home form last season was poor, with just seven victories from 23 games.

Zenga said he wants his players to enjoy playing at Molineux – and that packing out the stadium was his vision.

He said: "My idea is that this stadium becomes, of course, our house, and in our house the fans become our 12th player.

"Our house should be our comfort situation, and not our discomfort situation.

"The work we put on the pitch brings the fans.

"I know this cannot happen in three days. I imagine this stadium, in an important game, full. This is my vision.

"If the people have the vision and believe in it, it's coming."

After the Reading clash Wolves host Mick McCarthy's Ipswich on Tuesday before a derby against Birmingham next weekend and then yet another midweek game at home to Cambridge in the EFL Cup.

How does Zenga feel about having so many games in quick succession - and amid what is a busy few weeks in the transfer market as he settles into life in a new country with a new club, is he able to concentrate easily on the games?

"My style and my philosophy is to do the best today," he said. "If you're thinking about the past or the future you're not concentrating on now.

"I have to prepare and motivate the team and prepare on the next game.

"This is my job. It's not affected by anything.

"I have to adapt (to games in quick succession). I played a lot of games in this sequence but don't forget I've already had this experience (as a manager) in the European leagues, the Asian Champions League.

"Two years ago for example we played 18 games in two months and that included a cup final.

"I prefer to play every three days. The time to prepare is difficult, but I have wonderful technical staff, they are amazing."

Meanwhile, striker Nouha Dicko is back in training as he closes in on a comeback after almost a year out.

Dicko is currently with the under-23 squad as he builds up his fitness.

Zenga said: "He makes training with the under-23s. He's not involved in the first team (training) for one simple reason – because we play every three days.

"We don't have time to make training together. It's better he makes a normal week, with a game.

"He's with the second team only to give him a chance to work with a team for one long period and play the game in the right way.

"If he's with us, one day he recover, one day it's tactical points...it's not good for him.

"We're thinking about him and we prefer he train with the second team."
