WATCH: Wolves in Ireland - Day 1 update

Wolves have arrived in Ireland for their six-day pre-season trip at the stunning Fota Island in Cork.

The players and staff departed from Birmingham Airport early on Sunday morning before landing in Cork at 10.30am.

They have a full week on training ahead of them, and a match against Cork City on Monday evening.

Boss Kenny Jackett travelled separately as he was in London on Saturday night for supporters' club London Wolves' 50th anniversary dinner.

They are staying at the 5* Fota Island Resort, which has housed Fulham, Preston North End and the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2016 squad in recent weeks.
