Wolves takeover: Kenny Jackett unsure of immediate future
Beleaguered Wolves boss Kenny Jackett admits he doesn't know if he'll still be in charge this time next week.
Jackett's position appears to be perilous with a multi-million pound takeover looking likely to be announced any day now.
It's believed that Spanish ex-Porto boss Julen Lopetegui will be installed as Jackett's replacement if a takeover – thought to be led by Chinese billionaire Robin Li – is finalised.
Wolves travel to Cork for a pre-season trip next week which includes a game against Cork City on Monday.
When asked by the Express & Star if he would be in charge for the Cork trip, Jackett said: "It's very hard to tell, for my own position and situation.
"I haven't had any new information and that'll be because there's simply none to give.
"Yes, in my position you're aware of the overall situation.

"Similarly as each batch of days come, or each game, or each week's training, or the Cork trip, you obviously prepare for it and make sure that you're ready.
"I'm planning for Cork as normal."
The club's hierarchy remain tight-lipped on any behind-the-scenes developments.
But it's believed that documentation outlining the takeover details has been sent to the Football League for approval and an announcement is close to being made.
Jackett added on any takeover update: "It does appear these talks have been ongoing for quite a while.
"I've had no update and there's no information to give."
