Wolves correspondent Tim Spiers discusses the latest coming out of the camp after the club's end-of-season awards evening last night.

Defender Matt Doherty was named Fans' Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year and also scooped the Goal of the Season award, for his stunning 35-yard strike against Fulham.

The 24-year-old pipped Jack Price to the fans award, while James Henry was third. In the players' player award, Carl Ikeme finished runner-up behind Doherty.

Other awards handed out at the ceremony, held at the Telford International Centre, included Dominic Iorfa being named Young Professional of the Season for the second year running.

And the Academy Player of the Season went to young Irish midfielder Connor Ronan, who has recently earned praise from boss Kenny Jackett for his performances in the under-21 team this season.
