Graham has made such an impression in the 12 games he has played since returning from Oxford United on loan.

The 20-year-old tore his anterior cruciate ligament during Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Cardiff and will soon undergo surgery.

That will give a more precise timescale can be put on his recovery, but it's likely to be well into next season before Graham is seen in a Wolves shirt again.

Meanwhile, Ajax defender Nicolai Boilesen is close to agreeing a £300,000 move to Wolves. A deal has been agreed in principle between the two clubs and the player, it's believed.

And 23-year-old Boilesen must now decide whether to move from the Dutch giants to the Championship, or hold out for an offer from one of Europe's top leagues.

It was initially thought the Danish player was heading to England yesterday for a medical.

However, representatives of Boilesen are thought to have been at Compton Park to finalise a move.

The left-back, who can also play at centre-half, hasn't featured for Ajax yet this season owing to a contract dispute.

Capped 15 times by Denmark, Boilesen turned down a new deal with the Dutch giants last summer and boss Frank de Boer has refused to play him ever since.
