WATCH: Kenny Jackett hails two-goal Zyro
Boss Kenny Jackett hailed Wolves' two-goal home hero and his 'outstanding' team after they beat Fulham 3-2 at Molineux.
Michal Zyro scored twice inside the first 13 minutes to cap a dream home debut, added to by Matt Doherty's stunning second half strike.
Fulham reduced the deficit late on, but Wolves were very good value for what was their fourth successive league victory.
Polish international Zyro started up front with Rajiv van La Parra as Jackett switched to a 4-4-2 formation.
He said of his new signing: "I feel that technically and physically he's got a lot to offer English football.
"Exactly what his best role is going to be, I don't know, but he was excellent tonight and getting two goals on your home debut is a great start.
"I think he's a very good option for us.
"In Zyro and Van La Parra, they were a constant threat. Van La Parra's work rate was phenomenal.
"I was very pleased with Rajiv, he gave us a fantastic effort and application and the supporters gave him a good send off (when substituted), it was a performance full of heart and pace."
It was a more attacking approach from Wolves who scored three in a match for the first time since early October.
On Doherty's wondergoal, Jackett added: "It was a fantastic strike, I'm very pleased with him. He's wanted his opportunity, the opening has come at left back and he's taken it with both hands.
"Tonight was more open, we had to, being at home, go more attacking against a Fulham side that score a lot of goals but concede a lot of goals.
"The attitude, the determination and the spirit of the players was outstanding.
"I feel there's a lot of team spirit and a real high work ethic. Those things at the moment are seeing us over the line."
