Kenny Jackett: I have had no approach from QPR
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett insists he hasn't been approached by QPR for their vacant manager's job.
Rumours are rife that the London club have launched a formal bid to prise Jackett from Wolves.
The London club are said to have Jackett high on their shortlist to replace Chris Ramsey, who was sacked earlier this month.
Jackett, however, denied that QPR had contacted him – and committed his future to Wolves.
The 53-year-old has close ties to London and spent three years at Loftus Road as assistant to Ian Holloway from 2001 to 2004.
Jackett said of the speculation: "It's not my position to talk about others clubs. But there hasn't been any approach to myself, or as far as I'm aware, the club, so there's nothing to say on it.
"It's not something that's come to me.
"I'm committed to Wolves and speculation is just that, speculation."
The head coach is under increasing pressure at Molineux after a bad run of just one win in eight games.
Many fans have begun to question his position at the club and supporters loudly booed at the end of Saturday's 0-0 draw with MK Dons.
But it is believed Jackett's job isn't under any immediate threat. He is still held in high regard after transforming Wolves' fortunes since he arrived in 2013.
He said he fully understood supporters' frustration at the current situation and spoke of his determination to turn things around.
"I want to get things right," he added. "I understand that in terms of winning games and league position we're not where we want to be.
"But there's been no approach (from QPR) and I haven't heard anything in terms of any other clubs."
Neil Warnock is in interim charge at Loftus Road but the former Leeds and Sheffield United boss believes he won't remain in situ for long, with suggestions that a new manager could be named as early as this week.
QPR are also thought to be chasing Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
But like Jackett, the Dutchman denied the speculation, saying: "There's been no approach from QPR. It's not relevant."
