WATCH: Scott Sellars speaks after Wolves U21s draw with Arsenal
Wolves Under-21s came back from two goals down against their Arsenal counterparts to share the spoils.
First-half goals from Alex Iwobi and Daniel Crowley – a superb 25-yard free-kick into the top corner – put the Gunners in charge of this Under-21 Premier match at Telford.
But Wolves hit back in first-half stoppage time when Connor Hunte's cross was punched out by keeper Matt Macey and Declan Weeks pounced to halve the arrears.
The comeback was complete after 66 minutes when midfielder Albert Torras scored. The ball broke to the former Barcelona youngster who had time to pick his spot.
Former Shrewsbury loan striker Liam McAlinden provided the early threat for the home team, meeting a Bradley Reid cross in the third minute with a first-time effort which flew too high.
Fourteen minutes later he tried his luck with a free-kick but could not find the target.
But a 36th-minute flag-kick was fired in low and Iwobi met it to score. Just seven minutes later it was 2-0 as Crowley's superb dead-ball effort flew into the net.
But Wolves responded with Weeks' goal before Torras left the match all square.
Wolves: Burgoyne, Ricketts, O'Hanlon, Weeks, Ebanks-Landell, Carter, Reid, Kellerman (Ortega 82), McAlinden, Torras, Hunte (Keita 78). Subs not used: Upton, Dutton, Wilson.
