The record currently stands at eight and Wolves equalled that with a 3-0 derby win over Walsall.

Jackett says the club's main target is promotion but any records are welcomed.

In an Express & Star poll, 55% of voters said that Jackett's side is better than the Graham Turner's side of 1988, who were the last side to win eight consecutive league games.
