Video - Former Wolves striker Jay Bothroyd scores sublime goal in Muanthong win
It's like he has found a new lease of life at Thai club Muanthong United and Jay Bothroyd put in a man-of-the-match performance with an assist and a cracker of a strike.
Bothroyd joined Muanthong in January after a six-month period as a free agent. Now, he graces the pitch and is displaying his credentials in Thailand's top flight.
Playing in the Asian Football Confederation Champions League play-off round, Bothroyd was involved in both goals that contributed to a 2-1 victory over Ha Noi T&T.
The winners of the tournament will play in FIFA's Club World Cup, alongside the European Champions League winners.
Assisting the first, Bothroyd kept a cross in play before his team-mate struck a venomous shot into the net.
In the second half, Bothroyd displayed his strong characteristics and tore through the Ha Noi defence before unleashing a lethal left-foot strike that clipped the underside of the bar, bouncing on the goal line and hitting the roof of the net.
In his time at Wolves, Bothroyd made a total of 60 appearances and scored 13 goals.
