The 45-year-old Norwegian has rejoined the Danish club after they failed to win any of their opening five league games, which led to the exit of Ariel Jacobs.

Solbakken said: "When I left the club I had the idea that one day I would come back but I didn't expect it would be within two years. Now circumstances have made it the right time."

Solbakken succeeded Terry Connor at Molineux in May 2012, but was sacked in January 2013 after nine wins in 26 games.
