Or maybe Steve Davis? He's one of Wolves' own as a life-long supporter and has worked wonders at Crewe, even following on from the shadow of Dario Gradi.

Kenny Jackett? He might just be the fit for Wolves after masterminding Millwall's rise from League One to the Championship and keeping them there.

How about Owen Coyle? The former Republic of Ireland international was once held in very high regard at Burnley and Bolton and certainly has ability.
