Everton are weighing up a £6.5million move for Wolves sriker Kevin Doyle. They are also in talks for Rangers' Nikica Jelavic. If that falls through then Doyle will be the next target.

Wolves and West Ham are considering fresh bids for Bristol City's Nicky Maynard. The 25-year-old rejected a move to Wigan last week.

WEST BROM

West Brom have called off their pursuit of Szabolcs Huszti – with Roy Hodgson hoping to return for the midfielder in the summer.

BIRMINGHAM CITY

Spanish side Levante have been linked with a move for Blues stiker Nikola Zigic.

Nottingham Forest have rejected an enquiry from Birmingham to sign Lewis McGugan on loan.
