Stephen Hunt will try and claim the goal that sank champions Chelsea to cap his best game for Wolves.
His fifth minute inswinging corner got the slightest touch off George Elokobi before it went in off Chelsea right-back Jose Bosingwa's knee on the line under pressure from Steven Fletcher.
But Hunt, whose previous Wolves goal were the equaliser in the 3-2 win against Sunderland and the only strike in the 1-0 success against Birmingham, insists it was his.
He said: "I want to be involved in everything – I'm trying to claim the goal!
"Before the game I was saying you get two goals from a yard out, you get one header, one good strike and direct free kick that goes in, so I think I'll take that one!
"That's the way it went for me last season in terms of goals and hopefully I can claim this one."
Hunt believes he is getting better all the time as he strives for his best form after eight months out injured.
He said: "It was probably my best game for Wolves. I was definitely my liveliest – but that's me and that's what I want to be doing.
"I felt I was decent last night, I was OK at Liverpool and didn't have so much of the ball at West Ham, so I feel I'm getting there.
"Four games in 10 days has done me the world of good, because I was victim of my own downfall getting dragged off after 45 minutes at Blackpool.
"The more minutes I have will stand me in good stead, so I can crack on now."
Hunt believes Wolves shocked Chelsea by starting so firmly on the front foot.
He said: "I think we applied a lot of pressure early on before they came at us, which is understandable.
"We defended manfully and fair play to the boys at the back and even the ones who came on up front, they did a shift for us."
Hunt, who revealed "nothing happened" in his full-time altercation with Didier Drogba, also insists the abuse he gets over the Petr Cech fractured skull incident in 2006 still inspires him.
He said: "Maybe their fans will stop abusing me for something I didn't do.
"It was just one unfortunate game in my career but I have to crack on with it."
Hunt also believes Chelsea have blown their chances of retaining the title after dropping nine points behind leaders Manchester United.
He said: "I'm sure they'll be up there or thereabouts, although they're a bit far off really to win it now.
"But they've got strong characters and enough class to get themselves out of this run."
