Jonny Evans: West Brom deserve the credit for Manchester United draw
Defender Jonny Evans reckons Albion deserve credit for Saturday's defensive display at Manchester United after describing the 0-0 draw as their hardest-won point of the season.
The Baggies were under pressure for much of the afternoon at Old Trafford, particularly during the second half, with the hosts finishing the game having had 75 per cent of possession.

Yet while much of the focus on a national level naturally fell on United's failure to win at home, Evans believes the Baggies should get plaudits for another impressive result.
"We worked very hard for that," he said. "All the lads were saying that was the hardest point we have had to work for all season and it took a lot of effort.
"Ben Foster pulled off some good saves as well.
"I don't know what other teams do when there but that was the toughest away game in terms of physical demands and making sure that we closed spaces and we worked hard for that.
"It still us a daunting place to come. I notice coming here our concentration levels went through the roof.
"You could feel the tension and anticipation for this game, it's the biggest away game of the season and it will always be like that."
Evans was a key part of an Albion backline which remained impenetrable until the closing quarter of the match, when Foster saved after Henrikh Mkhitaryan had broken through.
The keeper then kept out two long range efforts from Marcus Rashford and Albion almost snatched an unlikely win when Darren Fletcher's shot slipped through the hands of David De Gea and hit the bar.
"It takes a lot of effort," continued Evans. "It might look easy from the outside but you are constantly on the move.
"We didn't have a lot of possession so there is never a spell in the game where you get to have a breather in a defensive shape.
"You are constantly on the move. Sometimes you think 'I can't be bothered going across there' but the moment you don't do it, Manchester United punish you so it's every single angle has to be covered otherwise you get found out."
Eighth-placed Albion now head to Watford tomorrow night and Evans admits there is a determination in the dressing room not to let the season fizzle out.
"We had two games now where people were saying they are on the beach but we have proven that's not the case by beating Arsenal and drawing at Manchester United," he said.
"We have Watford away so that will be tough, we want to make the most of our season because I think we can be quite pleased with how many points we have picked up at such an early stage and we don't want the season to fizzle out.
"The manager is determined for that not to happen."
