'I didn't recognise...' - James Morrison to look into why West Brom failed to show up
Albion were swept aside 1-0 in Sunday’s Black Country derby as Wolves recorded a first league win against their arch-rivals in 15 years on a day where 1-0 flattered the Baggies.

Boss James Morrison revealed he will conduct an internal inquest as to why he “did not recognise” his Albion side in the limp 1-0 Black Country derby defeat at Wolves.
The Baggies were distant second in the eagerly-anticipated Molineux showdown, which was decided by Fer Lopez in the second half but could have been a landslide in the hosts’ favour.
Albion failed to show up and carve out any clear chances on Jose Sa’s Wolves goal.
The no-show was a long way from the bright performances Morrison’s new-look Baggies have delivered so far in an encouraging start to the Championship season.
“That’s why it’s disappointing - I didn’t recognise my team, that’s what I’ll have to look into,” Morrison told the Express & Star.
“The question I’ll ask myself is how did that happen? Did I give the team enough? Did I pick the right team?”
The Baggies boss delivered few surprises in his team selection, with recalls for George Campbell, Ousmane Diakite and Jimmy-Jay Morgan having been given a breather the previous weekend.
Wolves were clear and deserved winners on an afternoon quality showed, and the visiting head coach thought his troops lacked belief.
“I felt like the players thought we were underdogs and didn’t have that belief,” he added. “They (Wolves) have been in the Premier League for ten years and have some terrific individuals.
“People looking in from the outside will look at the start we’ve had and will have thought the gap was closer than what it is.”
Albion defender Nat Phillips was culpable for the winner as a terrible backpass was picked off by Lopez.
"We get to 0-0 (at half-time) and we expect a reaction,” Morrison said. “We can't gift them a goal and that's twice in two weeks now we've gifted opposition goals. We have to get that out of our play."
"No," Morrison added of things his players can take from the day. "Well, they can take that they have to be better in these games."
