Boss Tony Pulis shocked by West Brom loss against Norwich
Boss Tony Pulis was shocked by Albion's flat performance against Norwich on Saturday because the players trained brilliantly leading up to the game.
The Baggies limped to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Canaries, as Alex Neil's struggling side battled to their first win in 12 matches.

Pulis' team had picked up 10 points from their previous four games and were on an eight-match unbeaten run at the Hawthorns.
They carried that confidence into training, and started the match brightly before Norwich stung them with a Robbie Brady goal five minutes after half-time.
Pulis continued: "I have to say, and it goes back to the old adage, in the week they trained as good and as well as they have since I've been here.
"They were really bright and looked really sharp. It just shows Monday to Friday means nothing, Saturday is when it counts."
Although Albion were on their best run of the season, they hadn't played in a fortnight.
That's because their scheduled match with Arsenal was rearranged when the Gunners reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
But Pulis did not use the break as an excuse for the abject display which saw his side register no shots on target.
The 58-year-old Welshman said: "It's the same for everybody. You have to deal with it."
With the international break coming up this weekend, Albion have to wait another fortnight until they can rectify this result.
Pulis said: "We've played so well over the last month or so and to put in a performance like that is disappointing.
"We've just had two weeks off, so we've got another two weeks off. Maybe they need a break, I don't know."
Not that Norwich blew the Baggies away. Their goal was the only shot on target in the whole game, and for the first 20 minutes of the match Albion were in control.
Seven of their 10 shots took place during this period but, after that, the Canaries stifled the home side.
Pulis said: "It was a really poor game. Apart from Sessegnon's chance in the first-half and, obviously, Yacob hit the post with a great strike from outside the box, we didn't do anything.
"I didn't think they did anything. I told them at half-time, sometimes you've got to grind results out. The one thing you wanted to do was keep a clean sheet.
"Their goal is such a poor goal. All right, they've had a break, but it should never have got to where it got to."
