West Brom boss pushes transfer focus towards changes he can make at The Hawthorns
Eric Ramsay confirmed work "behind the scenes" to boost Albion's squad before the end of the month - but insisted his focus remains with his new players.
Albion are working to strengthen the group Ramsay inherited from Ryan Mason this week but the club have laid out that transfer business will be minimal this month due to profit and sustainability regulations.
Boosting midfield options remains a priority - the Baggies have suffered injuries and lost Toby Collyer in that position - and defence and goalkeeping departments have been looked at.
With minimal business expected Ramsay, who leads his new club into Friday night's visit of Middlesbrough for a first fixture at the helm, instead stressed his focus on the squad he currently has to select from.
