The pair will face the local and national press on Wednesday afternoon at 2.30pm, with the Express & Star on hand to bring coverage as Ramsay faces questions on his Baggies appointment.

Midlands-born Ramsay, 34, signed a two-and-a-half year contract having moved from United States outfit Minnesota United as owners Bilkul's third head coach appointment in 12 months.

He will be in place at The Hawthorns' Richardson Suite next to the man who offered him the opportunity to become Albion head coach, owner Patel.

It is a little under two years since Patel's Bilkul Football group completed the takeover of struggling Albion from Guochuan Lai, with the anniversary to come late next month.

Patel will address the open media for the first time since the days after his takeover was complete in a sign of backing and support for the club's new head coach.

The Tampa-based owner, who is regularly on these shores to watch the Baggies in action, is keen to give an example to supporters of his commitment to the challenge ahead of Albion as they seek to pull away from 18th in the Championship.

Club president and sporting director Andrew Nestor was previously on hand for head coach unveiling press conferences for Tony Mowbray, appointed a year ago, and Ryan Mason early last July.
