Southampton v West Brom: Lewis Cox's predicted line-up with big goalkeeper decision and does Phillips return?

The piece of team news that will dominate Albion thoughts ahead of the Southampton clash is obvious.

Whether Ryan Mason will stick with his call from QPR to back Joe Wildsmith or revert to Josh Griffiths will be interesting - but it will not be the only selection worth keeping an eye on.

For what it is worth I reckon the head coach will stand by and stick with the Wildsmith call, so I expect to see him between the sticks for Albion at St Mary's.

I would personally choose Griffiths, but we will see how the evening transpires.

Elsewhere, defender Nat Phillips is back from a one-match suspension served at QPR.

The summer signing was struggling for form prior to the ban and probably does not merit an immediate recall - but I've gone for a change and to introduce him for another struggler, fellow summer centre-half addition Chris Mepham.

Krystian Bielik deserves to keep his place.

I've also gone for Alfie Gilchrist over George Campbell at right-back. That feels a little renegade given Southampton will be a good attacking outfit, but I feel a freshen-up could be required as Campbell struggled badly in London last time out.
