West Brom prospect Eseosa Sule back at club after injury blow at Motherwell - but will return
Albion prospect Eseosa Sule is back at the club after a frustrating injury breakdown at loan club Motherwell.
Striker Sule, 19, moved on a season-long loan with the Scottish Premiership and made an encouraging start to his stint at Fir Park.
He played three times for The Well in July's Premier Sports Cup and had also caught the eye in pre-season action.
But he has endured a setback via an unspecified injury, set to rule out the Scotland-born frontman "for a period of time".
Former Celtic youngster Sule, who moved to the Baggies academy in early 2023, has returned to his parent club in the Black Country for treatment on the injury.
He will move back north of the border to his loan club Motherwell when fit again.
Sule did not feature for his loan club in their Scottish Premiership opener at home to Rangers last weekend, in which the hosts salvaged a late draw.
He moved for a first loan away from The Hawthorns this summer after an impressive campaign with Albion's under-21s last season. Sule netted 12 goals under former boss Richard Beale.
He was out of contract at the end of last season but penned a new two-year contract with Albion.
