West Brom loan flop Daniel Sturridge 'worth £50m when fit'
Former Liverpool and Villa defender Stephen Warnock claims Albion flop Daniel Sturridge is a £50million player when fit and firing.
Sturridge scored for Liverpool in their 3-2 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and was one of three former Baggies to feature in the competition on Tuesday night.
Fellow flop loanee Grzegorz Krychowiak played 90 minutes for new club Lokomotiv Moscow in a 3-0 defeat to Galatasaray and Nacer Chadli started for Monaco in their 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid.
After the Liverpool game, Warnock said: "When you get Daniel fit and firing, you cannot ignore him.
"We are talking about having a £50m player at your disposal because he is potentially a world-class striker."
Sturridge played just 116 minutes for Albion last season after joining on loan in January, scoring no goals.
In order to bring him to the club, the Baggies sold academy product Tyler Roberts to Leeds United.
Roberts scored his first two goals for Leeds in their 3-0 win over Preston North End on Tuesday.
