The young Baggie, who recently turned 17, has travelled to Faro ahead of England’s games with hosts Portugal, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Tulloch has been featuring regularly for the under-23s this season and was promoted to the senior squad in December, when he was an unused substitute for Albion’s trip to Swansea.

The Young Lions are using the Algarve Tournament as preparation for this summer’s European U17 Championships, which are being held in England in May.

The Baggies have high hopes for Tulloch, who was last year promoted from England U16s to England U17s.

Albion academy Manager Mark Harrison said: “We’re really pleased that Rayhaan has been called up into the England set-up.

“He’s put in some great performances so far this season for our youth teams and now has the chance to test himself on an international level.”

Last night, Albion’s under-23s lost 3-2 to Southampton in Premier League 2. The Baggies’ goals were scored by Nathan Ferguson and Callum Morton.

Tulloch was unable to play, but he did score for the U18s in their 4-1 defeat to Newcastle United on Saturday.
