Wedding with a difference as woman marries in West Bromwich Albion dress
It is perhaps every Albion fan's dream - finding a woman who is prepared to walk down the aisle in the famous blue and white stripes.
That is exactly what Bronwyn Beale did as she surprised husband and die-hard Baggies fan Paul on their big day.
The gesture was all the more remarkable considering the bride wasn't even a football fan before she met Peter.
He got the shock of his life as his wife-to-be emerged in the Albion colours as the pair, from Kidderminster, tied the knot in Las Vegas.
Albion has played a big part in the couple's relationship after Peter proposed at his 50th birthday party held at The Hawthorns.
Bronwyn, aged 48, stuck to the Baggies theme and looked into how she could get the special dress made.
She said: "Afterwards I just started thinking about it and thought it would be a good idea and looked online where I could have it made."
The dress featured a throstle perched in a hawthorn bush, taken from the club badge.
Peter, 50, a former season ticket holder, wore an Albion tie.
Bronwyn said: "He had no idea whatsoever. He was really surprised."
Since meeting Peter, Bronwyn has become an Albion supporter, and has gone to a game alongside her husband, although he fears the dress may have had an impact on his team performance.
She said: "He thinks I've jinxed them. They haven't scored since we got married."
The dress was made by The Couture Company, in Digbeth, Birmingham, which specialise in unusual designs.
And after all the effort that went into making it, Bronwyn has no plans to get rid of it.
She said: "I think I'm going to keep it - I could always wear it for fancy dress."
