Video: Tony Pulis completes charity rowing challenge
West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has completed his epic rowing challenge from London to Paris.
Pulis was part of a 24-strong team of rowers who arrived at the Eiffel Tower this morning after setting out from Tower Bridge last Monday.
They have raised more than £225,000 towards their £250,000 target for the Donna Louise Hospice in Stoke.
Pulis said: "It's been very difficult and not like anything I've ever done before.
"I have done challenging things in the past but they have always been on dry land.
"There were some tough moments along the way but it's unbelievable to have finished and the most important thing is raising money for the hospice.
"It's a special place and the things they do for children and families going through some really difficult times is marvelous."
Pulis and his fellow rowers arrived at the Eiffel Tower just before 7.30am French time today, a few hours ahead of schedule.
Pulis was joined in the boat by comedians Nick Hancock and Hugh Dennis, former Stoke City midfielder Rory Delap and his wife Helen, and Olympic rowing medalists Anna Watkins and Debbie Flood.
The 57-year-old Albion head coach has previously climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, cycled from John O'Groats to Land's End and run the London Marathon in aid of the Donna Louise Hospice.
