Five questions kids asked Joleon Lescott
What do you get when you allow a load of schoolkids to question a Premier League footballer?
Some intriguing answers, as West Brom defender Joleon Lescott reveals to 14-16-year-olds from Ace Academy in Tipton.
Lescott talks clothes, music, coaching and the Wolves versus Albion rivalry, reports Tim Nash.
1, If you weren't a footballer what would you do?
"I'd probably be a DJ. My dad was a DJ and when I was younger I can remember carrying all the vinyl records to events.
"I was in charge of music in the dressing room but the gaffer has banned the language, so now it's 'Fletch' (Darren Fletcher).
"The gaffer wants to play Frank Sinatra so, as long as he's not in charge, we'll be alright!
"The playlist varies because we have different cultures and different genres, but it gets everyone going in time for the game."

2, Who has the worst dress sense at Albion?
"I have got a clothing brand where people have not bought into because of the name (Lescott Stewart).
"It's a case of not so much bad clothes but lazy dressers.
"Craig Gardner is one of the – he's not really a fussy dresser and puts anything on.
"There are people who take more pride in their appearance such as Victor Anichebe, but Claudio Yacob is probably the worst."
3, If you had to pick another position to play, which would it be?
"Striker – definitely! I didn't want to be a defender but I wasn't quick enough to play up front.
"Originally I was a central midfielder then I went to a game when I was a kid at Wolves and the centre-back was ill, so I was asked to play there and I stayed there. I was gutted!

4, Is being an former Wolves player a problem?
"I didn't think it would when I first signed here but my friends and family mentioned it and then I thought 'the pressure is on now.'
"I would like to think I'm liked by both sets of fans now. When I came here I got injured and we hadn't won many games when I came into the team.
"But we won at Spurs and that was a big thing for me and since then it's gone well with the fans."
5, What will you do after you retire from playing football?
"I'm not sure yet. It's something you start thinking about as you get older and, in the last couple of years, I've thought about coaching.
"One of the coaches here, Darren Moore, is helping me with my coaching badges at the moment.
"So that's one area I am looking into but I'm not entirely sure yet, so we'll see what happens going forwards."
