Chris Brunt to request personal hearing following FA charge
Albion midfielder Chris Brunt was this afternoon set to request a personal hearing after being charged with using foul and abusive language towards a match official.
The 30-year-old former Baggies skipper is set to appeal the charge, which will then be heard at a later date.
But he will be available for Saturday's visit of Stoke.
Boss Tony Pulis said: "That's with Richard (Garlick, director of football) and the powers that be.
"That's in the if, buts and maybes for Saturday.
"We don't know if he'll be charged or if he's banned. We're not sure yet, they're still talking."
Albion have until 6pm this evening to request a personal hearing.
Meanwhile, Callum McManaman looks like being out for up to three weeks after aggravating his foot injury against Villa.
But Victor Annichebe has returned to full training after a knee problem.
