Tottenham Under-21s 4 West Brom Under-21s 0
West Brom's youngsters crashed to a heavy defeat to Under-21 Premier League Elite Group leaders Tottenham at their Enfield Training Centre.
Jack Munns scored twice with Kenneth McEvoy and Shaquile Coulthirst on target as Spurs recorded their sixth victory in eight games.
The Baggies, who face Manchester United at the Hawthorns on Sunday (2pm), remain seventh in the eight-team group.
Tottenham included Tom Huddlestone in their line-up. The former Wolves loan star is on the way back from injury and played the first half of the match.
Development coach David Oldfield said: "Tottenham are a good side and it was a good lesson for our players.
"We have one or two younger boys in the group and there are lots of positives to take from the game.
"We created some good opportunities and we were quite good between the two penalty areas but inside the box we didn't have quite enough power or strength to either score or resist their attacks.
"We're disappointed to a degree because the goals were preventable and we should have done better.
"The boys played well in patches and had good periods in the game."
