Chris Hughton: We'll decide Foster's future

Chris Hughton today said it will be Birmingham who decide Ben Foster's future – not Albion.

The keeper, on a season-long loan at the Baggies, has said he would welcome a quick decision over his future after Albion head coach Roy Hodgson appealed for a deal to be struck.

But Blues boss Hughton insists their promotion push is the key to Foster's final destination. "We are all aware of the fact Ben Foster is our goalkeeper and we know dialogue will have to take part at some stage," he said. "We all know what the situation is and it's one that will have to be addressed.

"But it will be addressed at the right time. It's very much dependant on ourselves."
