Everything you need to know about Walsall loan signing Isaac Moore
The lowdown on Walsall’s latest loan recruit from Coventry City.
Isaac Moore became the fifth signing of the summer transfer window when he joined on a season long-loan from Premier League new boys Coventry City on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old arrives at Bescot following loan spells with Forest Green Rovers and Solihull Moors respectively last term.
Here is an in-depth look at his journey so far.
Early challenges

After rising through the ranks at Coventry, Moore signed his first professional contract in 2023 when he penned a three-year deal.
Moore faced a pair of lengthy injury setbacks during his teenage years, but made a strong impression on Coventry boss Frank Lampard upon his return towards the end of the 2024-25 season.
He trained regularly with the first team and even made it on to the bench for the final five games of the regular campaign.
Coventry showed further faith in Moore by extending his contract until the summer of 2028.
Forest Green loan
Robbie Savage took Moore on board at Forest Green Rovers where he spent the first half of last season on loan.
Upon his arrival, Savage said: “He’s 6ft 2in, box-to-box, has plenty of energy and sees this as an opportunity to come and learn.”
Moore started on his debut in a 2-2 draw at hometown club Solihull Moors, but was replaced at half-time.
However, he continued to feature regularly and bagged assists in wins against Sutton United in August and Woking in September.
His first goal arrived in the National League Cup when he captained the side to a 3-2 victory over Wolves under-21s in mid September.
The youngster predominantly played as a number eight, but was also deployed as both a defensive and attacking midfielder.
In total, Moore scored three goals and set-up three more in 27 appearances for Rovers, before Coventry recalled him in late January.
Solihull homecoming
Moore teamed up with his local outfit Solihull, initially on a 28-day loan, before his stay was extended until the end of the season.
Compared to his loan spell at Forest Green, Moore played slightly deeper, but continued to showcase his versatility across midfield.
His maiden goal for Solihull was scored in just his second appearance when he notched in a 3-3 draw at Scunthorpe United and he added to his tally in another draw at Brackley in mid March.
After his first full season in senior football, Moore contributed five goals in 40 appearances across all competitions for both Forest Green and Solihull combined.

Following his exposure to the National League, the leap into the Football League was always going to be the next step.
He will enter a growing list of options in midfield following the permanent arrivals of Sven Sprangler and Lewis Simper.
Fellow midfielders Alex Pattison, Courtney Clarke and Ronan Maher also remain from the previous campaign.
