Decision time for Craig Westcarr over Walsall FC future
Dean Smith says he will not be rushed into any new signings as Craig Westcarr today prepared to make a final decision on his Walsall future.
The striker, who has already turned down one deal to stay at the Banks's, spent the weekend mulling over a fresh offer from the club after meeting Smith on Friday.

Smith is keen to keep hold of the 28-year-old after the triple blow of losing Febian Brandy, Will Grigg and Jamie Paterson left a big gap on the forward line.
The new League One season is less than three weeks away but Smith is refusing to push the panic button, insisting there is plenty of time to bring new faces on board.
Walsall are currently running the rule over a number of trialists, while Smith hinted the club have also identified a number of other targets.
"We have got a bit more time – there is no need to panic," he said. "I'm hoping Westy signs because he is a player I like, a player who mixes in well with the other lads and they like him.
"But there are a number of options we have got, some of them trialists and some of them not trialists."
Westcarr scored in Saturday's 2-1 friendly win at Kidderminster Harriers and also had a penalty saved by keeper Danny Lewis.
Former Albion striker Romaine Sawyers got the winner, while the Saddlers' line-up also included 20-year-old striker Taylor Morgan.
Morgan is English-born but has played most of his career in North America and made one appearance for Toronto FC in this year' MLS before being released.
Smith reiterated his desire for Westcarr to stay but appeared confident the striker would sign following their latest meeting.
"He has not signed but we are very close," said Smith.
"I spoke to Craig on Friday and told him what our offer was – he is spending the weekend thinking about it. But I think he will sign."
"Taylor Morgan was in the MLS for Toronto but was released. He has done well in training for us."
