Dean Smith targets extra firepower for Walsall
Dean Smith was today continuing his hunt for more firepower after signing Tom Bradshaw – with Walsall braced for another possible Will Grigg cash boost.
Bradshaw yesterday became the first new face on the Saddlers forward line this summer when he penned a two-year deal at the Banks's Stadium.

The 21-year-old, a former Wales Under-21 international, rejected an offer to stay at Shrewsbury and the deal went through after the clubs agreed a compensation package.
It is the second time in a fortnight the Saddlers have paid a "fee" for a player, after prising promising goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray from non-league Harrogate Town. And Smith could yet see his coffers boosted further following reports Grigg, who departed the Saddlers 12 months ago for Brentford, could be on the move to Bristol City.
Under the terms of the tribunal following last summer's switch, the Saddlers have a 20 per cent sell-on clause for any transfer from the Bees. Brentford are reported to want £300,000 for the Northern Ireland international.
That money would further help Smith as he looks to further rebuild the forward line.
"I'm looking to maybe get three in there," said Smith. "Last season the players we had were good at rotating among themselves and we will be looking to do that again."
Bradshaw netted seven times in 30 appearances for Shrewsbury last season but missed three months of the campaign, in which the Shropshire side were eventually relegated, with a knee injury.
Smith saw him in action against the Saddlers three times last season, twice for the Shrews first team and then finally in for the reserves in April as he was recovering from injury.
"He's a player that has always caught my eye whenever he has played against us at various levels or I have watched him," said Smith.
"I believe that we can further develop him here and really bring the best out of him; he's a good age and I am delighted that we have been able to agree this deal with Shrewsbury."
