Walsall set for early start as April trip to Barrow is rescheduled for television
Walsall's trip to Barrow has been switched to an early kick-off on April 18 after it was selected for live broadcast by Sky Sports.
The Saddlers 320-mile round trip to Cumbria was originally set get underway at 3pm, but Walsall fans are now in store for a very early start.
The previous two visits to Holker Street have ended in a 2-0 defeat - including during the League Two run-in last season when current Walsall striker Aaron Pressley scored for the Bluebirds in April 2025.
Saddlers striker Josh Gordon is on loan at Barrow but won't be eligible to face his parent club.
Both fixtures over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend will also be available to watch on Sky Sports+ - at home against Gillingham on Good Friday and on the road at Swindon on Monday, April 6.
