Walsall match-winner Priestley Farquharson on bouncing back with a brace
Walsall defender Priestley Farquharson says he will "never" go into his shell, after responding to his mistake earlier in the week with a match-winning brace at Shrewsbury Town.
Farquharson's error led to Rushian Hepburn-Murphy's opener in the 2-0 home defeat against MK Dons on Monday, but the 28-year-old played an instrumental role in ending the Saddlers' seven-match winless run just five days later.
He opened the scoring in the first half and bagged his brace to extend his season tally to five goals with his third in two games.
He said: "It's football, you make mistakes. There are people in the Premier League on £300k a week and they make mistakes.
"It happens but you have to forget about it. It's done and you've just got to push on because the best players in the world do it.
