SAM HORNBY

Did very little wrong on his first league start in over 10 months but was let down by his defence for both goals.

PRIESTLEY FARQUHARSON

Started relatively well until his costly error for MK Dons' opener threw him off course completely on a night to forget.

Error: 4

ADEN FLINT

Completed just seven of his 19 passes as his play from the back constantly undermined the Saddlers' build-up play.

Loose: 5

KACPER LOPATA

Retained his place in the team but was wayward with his distribution and looked lost positionally at times.

Difficult: 4

BRANDON COMLEY

One of the better performers on the night. At least won the majority of his duels and looked to bring some precision to the midfield play.
