Mat Sadler 'does not expect' Harry Williams to feature this season despite initial hope
Mat Sadler has revealed Walsall defender Harry Williams is not expected to make his comeback from injury this season.
The 23-year-old has not featured for the Saddlers since rupturing his Achilles during the 1-0 defeat against AFC Wimbledon in the League Two play-off final at Wembley Stadium in May 2025.
Williams was initially ruled out for the season, although there was hope that he could push for a return to action in the dying embers of the campaign.
Sadler recently set a time frame of four-and-a-half months in late December, but has now stated that he does not expect to see him in a Walsall shirt this season.
