Walsall players "need to step up to the plate" after winless run - Aden Flint
Walsall defender Aden Flint says the players "need to step up to the plate" to put a stop to their five-match winless run.
The Saddlers suffered back-to-back defeats against Bristol Rovers and Barnet in the League Two over the past week.
And a run of just one win in eight games has seen them plummet from the league summit into seventh - just one point clear of Chesterfield in eighth.
"If I could tell you that then I'd tell you, but I can't put my finger on it," Flint replied when asked why form has dropped so drastically.
"It happens in football and it has gone on longer than we would've like to.
