Walsall will bide their time with Kemar Roofe as he returns to training as a free agent
Kemar Roofe is back in training at Walsall - but Mat Sadler will take his time before reaching a decision on his future.
The 33-year-old is currently a free agent, as he announced on his social media, after his short-term deal with the Saddlers expired last week.
Roofe made four appearances - including two in League Two - for his hometown club, before suffering a groin injury in early December.
The striker has trained at Essington for the past week, and will continue to do so - according to Sadler.
But the Walsall boss is weighing up the situation and wants to see how he recovers from his latest injury setback, before making a call on his future.
'I'm not closing the door on it' - Sadler on Roofe
