Mat Sadler set to hold conversations with Kemar Roofe over Walsall future
A decision is yet to be reached on Kemar Roofe's future at Walsall - with Mat Sadler set to hold conversations with the striker in the coming days.
The 33-year-old has not featured since suffering a groin injury during the Saddlers' 2-0 victory at Gateshead in the FA Cup on December.
Roofe joined Walsall on a short-term deal until January and has made four appearances in all competitions since arriving at his hometown club in early November.
Roofe edging closer to a return
Sadler has confirmed Roofe is edging closer to recovering from his latest injury setback and will discuss his future when he is back with the group.
"He is not far off with being back with the group but we've brought in an extra striker in that area as it stands with Aaron [Loupalo-Bi].
