Bristol Rovers vs Walsall: Away form remains key for stalling Saddlers
Walsall continue to rely on away form to remain in the League Two promotion mix, as they travel to Bristol Rovers at the Mem Stadium tonight.
The Saddlers have registered three draws in a row, but came from two goals down to salvage a point at Chesterfield on Saturday.
As a result, Walsall dropped to seventh in the table, but maintained their four-point buffer over Chesterfield in eighth.
Their stalemate at Chesterfield felt much more like a win compared to the two score-less draws against Accrington Stanley and Crawley Town that preceded it.
Nonetheless, Walsall have collected just six points from a possible 15 since the turn of the year, which has seen them cut adrift of the automatic promotion places.
Time to translate draws into wins
They trail league leaders Bromley by 10 points - albeit with a game in hand - and sit four points behind second-place Cambridge United and three adrift of Salford City in third.

It's still extremely tight at the top end of League Two but an inability to translate draws into wins will only further hamper the Saddlers' promotion prospects.
There were positives to take from Chesterfield. Walsall failed to lay a glove on their Derbyshire hosts in the first 40 minutes but showed fight and desire to battle for a point.
