Former Wolves boss Terry Connor departs Walsall after interim spell
Walsall have confirmed Terry Connor has left the club after his spell as interim assistant.
Former Wolves boss Connor joined the Saddlers on a short-term basis in early November following Chris Powell's short-lived stay at Bescot.
Powell was initially appointed as interim assistant in late September, after Gary Waddock was forced to step aside from his duties to undergo ankle surgery.
However, Powell spent just 14 days in the post before joining the backroom staff at Luton Town under ex-Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.
Waddock officially resumed his role as full-time assistant on Monday after visiting the training ground at Essington on Tuesday and Friday last week.

The club had been expected to issue a statement regarding Connor's future over the coming days and have confirmed that he will be departing.
"I want to thank Terry on behalf of all of us for his hard work and dedication through the last couple of months," boss Sadler said.
"It's been incredible to get to know him in a football sense but more importantly as a person.
"He's given us all some invaluable bits of advice from the experiences he has had over a long playing and coaching career."
Connor made his debut in the dugout during the Saddlers' 4-2 win at Newport County on November 8.
He assisted head coach Mat Sadler for a total of 15 games across all competitions - winning eight, drawing two and losing five.
The 62-year-old, who managed Wolves in the Premier League back in 2012, made his last appearance on the Walsall bench during their 3-1 win at Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.
That victory, which was the Saddlers' first of 2026, saw them move to within six points of the League Two summit - with a game in hand.
