Mat Sadler to make late injury call on Walsall pair ahead of Norwich FA Cup tie
Walsall will make a late fitness call on Priestley Farquharson and Jamille Matt ahead of their FA Cup third round tie at Norwich City on Sunday.
Farquharson was forced to sit out the Saddlers' 2-0 defeat at Cambridge United on New Year's Day with an eye issue.
The defender required stitches above his eye following a clash of heads with Joe Garner in a 2-1 home loss against Oldham Athletic at the end of 2025.
Matt picked up an early knee problem at Cambridge and was replaced just past the half-hour mark after initially soldiering on.
Both are fighting to be fit ahead of the trip to Carrow Road and Sadler has revealed he will reach a decision ahead of the weekend.
