"Feels like I've been here for years" - Charlie Lakin on finding a home at Walsall
Charlie Lakin says his spell at Walsall has been the most he has "felt at home" during his career so far.
The midfielder has scored five goals and set-up three more in 70 appearances during his 18 months at Bescot, including one goal and one assist in 21 matches this season.
After a somewhat nomadic start to his career, Lakin has seized the chance to lay down roots close to home and has relished his experience with Walsall.
"Yes, I think it is," he responded when asked if this is the most at home he has felt during his career.
"Partly because it's close to home. It's good to be back with my family every day.
