The 24-year-old sustained the injury in training and has been forced to sit out three wins on the spin over Harrogate Town, Bromley and Oldham Athletic respectively.

Pressley, who has scored four goals in 17 appearances since joining Walsall in the summer, also missed the cup wins over former club Stevenage and non-league Gateshead in the EFL Trophy and FA Cup respectively.

Sadler confirmed that the Scotsman trained with the squad at the start of this week and is hopeful that he will be in contention for the visit of local rivals Shrewsbury.

"We look forward to hopefully welcoming back Aaron on Saturday," boss Sadler said.
