We take a look at some of the talking points from the north east success in the debrief.

Flint weapon

The giant centre-back's goalscoring record speaks for itself - 56 Football League goals in his career is the most of any defender since he began playing in the top four tiers in 2011.

Sunday's header shortly into the second half effectively killed off the second round tie as a contest, with just Flint's second goal for the club.

He is doing everything right at the other end and Walsall will hope 6ft 6ins Flint can become more of a weapon in the opposition box. Flint, masked up like Zorro to protect a facial injury, should have opened the scoring earlier with a clear chance sent well over.

He is such a threat. There are few in the land who can deal with the 36-year-old.

Masterful delivery

Of course for Flint and others to be so deadly it requires the ammunition line.
