'We've got a bit of time' - Mat Sadler on Kemar Roofe's long-term future at Walsall

Mat Sadler will continue to assess striker Kemar Roofe before reaching a decision over his long-term future at Walsall.

Roofe, who joined his hometown club earlier this month, penned an initial deal until January, after spending over six months without a club.

The 32-year-old made his debut from the bench during the Saddlers' 2-0 home defeat against Colchester United on November 15 and featured as a late substitute in the win at Harrogate Town last weekend.

But Sadler insists that Walsall won't be rushing into anything with Roofe, as they continue to try and get him up to match fitness.
