Bromley have emerged as the surprise package in League Two so far this season and are currently riding the wave of a four-match winning streak in the Football League for the first time in their history.

In doing so, Bromley have propelled themselves into third-place, just two points adrift of Walsall at the top of the division.

Time to get back on track at Bescot

Walsall are looking to avoid three successive home defeats in the league for the first time since 2022.

It might be too early to read very much into permutations, but this is a prime opportunity for Walsall to put space between themselves and a direct rival.

The priority right now though is to get back on track on home soil. Walsall have won successive away games against Harrogate and Newport County, and no team has registered more points on the road in League Two this term (17).

However, the Saddlers have suffered back-to-back home defeats against Barrow and Colchester United respectively. Never before have they lost three home games in a row under Mat Sadler.
