Aaron Pressley has been ruled out of Walsall's home clash against Bromley on Saturday, although his hamstring injury is not as serious as first feared.

The 24-year-old, who has scored four times in 17 games this season, sustained the injury during training on Thursday last week.

He was forced to sit out the Saddlers' 2-0 win at Harrogate Town on Saturday and had a scan on Monday.

After receiving the results, Sadler said he is hopeful Pressley will be pushing for a return against Gateshead in the FA Cup, or the following weekend against Shrewsbury Town on December 13.

"His scan was not as bad as we thought which is good. He won't be available for Saturday though," Sadler confirmed.
